Catching up

May 2014? I can't believe (well yes I can really) that was my last posting! So much has transpired since that date!! Let's see. Baby #3 was born in March 2015. What a whopper that was. That pregnancy definitely took its toll on me. Between nausea and vomiting and exhaustion... It left little to be desired to exercise! I was active, working, etc. just not really exercising per se. Towards the end of my pregnancy I was admitted to the hospital 3 times for various reasons and finally ended up with an emergency c section at almost 37 weeks. That little booger was 7lb 4oz already. Can you imagine if he waited until his due date? Yikes! So anyway....

Throughout the summer I worked my butt off to try and lose the baby weight. Like always, I lost it all except the last 10 pounds or so without really trying too hard. But those last 10 pounds just refused to go anywhere! I was running up to 5 miles a day and still nothing! Frustrating is an understatement. So in September I joined a bootcamp style workout place. Since then, I have lost pounds (not quite all 10 yet), inches, and body fat. My resting heart rate is much lower and so is my blood pressure. It was a good move to make and I'm very happy with the results so far. If I can get my diet under control, I'm sure I would have even better results!!!
